LEAD TEACHER (FT)

The YMCA of Downtown Manchester is currently seeking a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing an early childhood classroom in a licensed child care program. As the classroom teacher, the candidate will be responsible for daily operations while meeting YMCA quality standards, ensuring the safety of the children, implementing appropriate curriculum, organizing field trips and events, and developing relationships with families. Additional responsibilities include properly maintaining rosters, attendance records, following procedures related to incident reporting and filing accident reports.

All applicants must meet state child care licensing requirements, including a minimum of 18 early childhood education credits from an accredited college or university and at least 1000 hours experience working in a licensed child care setting.

This is a full time position with a generous benefits package. Salary range is $10 - $12/hour based on experience.

ASSOCIATE TEACHER (FT)

Currently seeking an associate teacher who will serve as a responsible individual for programming aspects for the safety and care of participants within the designated classrooms. Candidate will work in conjunction with the Lead Classroom Teacher for the enhancement of the YMCA Child Development Center.

Requirements: Must meet minimum licensing standards for Associate Teacher as defined by State of NH Bureau of Child Care Licensing. Must have knowledge of developmental needs and behavior management techniques effective with preschool children, experience with curriculum implementation, strong interpersonal communication skills, project a positive, energetic and professional image, have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form. First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred and must be obtained within 60 days of employment. All staff must take Child Abuse Prevention Training within 90 day of employment.

This is a full time position with a full benefit package. Salary range is $8 - $10/hour.

GROUP EXERCISE/YOGA INSTRUCTORS (PT)

Currently seeking certified group exercise instructors to teach Cycling on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 am and Yoga instructors for Monday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Group Exercise and Yoga instructors at the Y will lead classes for all ability levels, while demonstrating the Y values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility.

Must have nationally recognized group exercise certification or YMCA group exercise certification and prior experience leading groups of diverse levels in a safe and appropriate exercise. CPR certification preferred.

Salary range: $12 to $20 per class depending on certification level and experience.

GYMNASTICS INSTRUCTOR (PT)

Seeking energetic and enthusiastic individual to work with preschool, progressive and competitive gymnastics classes from ages 6 months to adult. Will be developing relationships with members, staff and students. Flexibility is required as days and times of instruction will vary.

Requirements include a minimum of three years or more coaching preschool and progressive gymnastics. Some competitive women's gymnastics experience is helpful. Familiarity with compulsory and optional gymnastics coaching, as well as knowledge in recreational and preschool gymnastics is desired.

Salary range: $10 to $13/hr

LIFEGUARDS/SWIM INSTRUCTORS (PT)

Currently seeking Certified Lifeguards and Swim instructors for a year round indoor position beginning in September. We are looking for opening shifts, closing shifts and weekends.

Lifeguard indoor pool hours - Monday - Friday shifts are available 5:30 am - 9:30 pm. Weekend shifts are 7:30 am - 7:30 pm.

Current certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED, Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED required. Experience preferred.

ASSISTANT SWIM COACH (PT)

Seeking an energetic and positive individual who enjoys working with swimmers ages 6-18 years old of varying abilities. Will provide a safe and fun environment along with structure and leadership for swimmers. Must be able to provide corrective feedback and positive reinforcement to all swimmers.

Requirements: Available Monday-Friday from 4:00 - 7:30 pm and some weekends. Hours will vary within that time frame; 5 years of competitive swimming experience or coaching experience; have or be willing to obtain within 60 days both CPR and First Aid certification; Lifeguarding or safety training for swim coaches, Foundation of Competitive Swimming 101, YMCA Principles of competitive swimming and diving.

Salary range is $9.00 - $10.00/hr depending on experience.

WELLNESS COACH/PERSONAL TRAINERS

Seeking experienced personal trainer/wellness coach at the YMCA of the Seacoast for off-site programming at our Work at Wellness Corporate locations. Candidate under the guidance and supervision of the Healthy Living Director is responsible for guiding members through personal consultations and orientations in the Fitness Center. The goal in fitness is to assist members in making healthy lifestyle changes and build self-esteem. The role of the personal trainer/wellness coach is to assist members through this process by providing positive attention, support and motivation. Personal Training and CPR/AED certification required.

Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, other hours TBD.

Salary range is $8.50 - $14 per hour dependent on education, certification and experience.

Seeking an outgoing organized team player who can provide excellent customer service as well as support our Child Care/Day Camp Registrar and Data Management department. Primary responsibility is third party billing and account collections. Immediate openings for energetic, safety-minded individuals dedicated to the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility to provide care for children ages 6 months to 10 years old in our Kid Zone. Kid Zone is a free child care program for parents while they are working out at the YMCA for up to two hours a day. You will engage a wide variety of youth in fun, educational, and stimulating activities.

Various shifts available.

Salary range is $7.25 - $9.00 per hour based on experience. Previous babysitting or child care experience preferred. CPR/First Aid required within 90 days.
