ASSOCIATE TEACHER (FT)
Currently seeking an associate teacher who will serve as a responsible individual for programming aspects for the safety and care of participants within the designated classrooms. Candidate will work in conjunction with the Lead Classroom Teacher for the enhancement of the YMCA Child Development Center.
Requirements: Must meet minimum licensing standards for Associate Teacher as defined by State of NH Bureau of Child Care Licensing. Must have knowledge of developmental needs and behavior management techniques effective with preschool children, experience with curriculum implementation, strong interpersonal communication skills, project a positive, energetic and professional image, have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form. First Aid and CPR certification are preferred and must be obtained within 60 days of employment. All staff must take Child Abuse Prevention Training within 90 days of employment.
This is a full time Monday-Friday position with a full benefit package. Salary range is $9.50 - $10.00 per hour.

KID ZONE STAFF (PT)

You will engage a wide variety of youth in fun, educational, and stimulating activities. GYMNASTICS INSTRUCTOR (PT)
Seeking energetic and enthusiastic individual to work with preschool, progressive and competitive gymnastics classes from ages 6 months to adult. Will be developing relationships with members, staff and students. Flexibility is required as days and times of instruction will vary.
Requirements include a minimum of three years or more coaching preschool and progressive gymnastics. Some competitive women's gymnastics experience is helpful. Familiarity with compulsory and optional gymnastics coaching, as well as knowledge in recreational and preschool gymnastics is desired.

GROUP EXERCISE COORDINATOR (PT)
Currently seeking group exercise coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing group exercise class instruction, creating class schedules, supervising staff, promoting group exercise and maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all class participants.
Position requires a sensitive, patient, and conscientious leader with excellent knowledge in the areas of health and fitness and communication skills (expecially listening). This position requires the ability and desire to work with the diverse needs of the inactive as well as the active market. MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR (FT)
The YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown, a branch of The Granite YMCA is currently seeking a Membership Director to oversee the day to day membership operations of a thriving full service branch. This is a full-time, salary exempt position with a varied weekday and weekend schedule.
Requirements include a strong history of delivering front line customer service, providing sales staff training, developing and preparing all financial and management reports to include budget and sales stats, managing all aspects of membership, personnel management, and the ability to manage and delegate a variety of customer service initiatives and events provided by YMCA leadership and organizational standards.
The candidate will have at a minimum, as Associate's Degree in communications, business or recreation management and will have a minimum of three years of customer service and sales management experience. PERSONAL TRAINER (PT)

Seeking experienced personal trainer at the YMCA of the Seacoast for off-site programming at our Work at Wellness Corporate locations. Candidate under the guidance and supervision of the Healthy Living Director, is responsible for providing individual and custom wellness plans for members who participate in personal training programming. They are also responsible for leading the client through every aspect of each session. The goal in fitness is to assist members in making healthy lifestyle changes and to build self-esteem. The role of the Personal Trainer is to assist members through this process by providing individual and specific attention, support, and motivation. MARTIAL ARTS/SELF DEFENSE INSTRUCTOR (PT)

Seeking experienced martial arts instructor at the YMCA of the Seacoast for a self defense class. Candidate, under the guidance and supervision of the Healthy Living Director, is responsible for providing a class that will teach the basics of self defense, including drills and scenarios on how to escape or defend one's self in a threatening situation and techniques for punching, kicking, and blocking. The candidate should also be able to provide mental strategies for overcoming fear and instilling self confidence with participants.

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE
The Granite YMCA has an immediate opening for an experienced full time Accounting Associate in its Corporate Office in Manchester.
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of our AP cycle including matching purchase orders and reviewing all vendor invoices for discrepancies, processing the invoices in our system, generating checks for payment, initial vendor file set up as well as general maintenance of files. This person will also be the primary contact for vendor and staff inquires regarding AP issues.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for reconciling credit card statements, processing expense reports, verifying compliance with Association policy and assisting with weekly and monthly reporting and monthly closings. This position also completes the daily processing, reconciliation, and deposits of cash receipts. Cross training to support other positions, budget data entry, other accounting tasks as well as on-going professional development round out the position.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a high volume, fast paced environment with the ability to work independently on daily tasks. 2+ years of experience in payables related processing and general ledger knowledge is required. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting related programs is necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required as well as the ability to intereact effectively with all levels of staff and vendors. Excellent organizational skills are needed and must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task without compromising accuracy and timeliness of end products.

MARKETING DIRECTOR (FT)
The Granite YMCA has an immediate opening for a full time, experienced Marketing Director in its Corporate Office in Manchester.
Under the direction of the District Vice President, the Association Director of Marketing will provide assistance and operating support for developing, executing, managing, and monitoring all communication efforts throughout the Association.
The position provides day-to-day support for efforts surrounding brand management, public relations, media relations, community relations, fund development campaign collateral, and member relationship management. The qualified candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of the mission of The Granite YMCA and the ability to articulate the Y's offerings to a diverse audience of members, donors, and volunteers.
Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the District VPs, Marketing Department, Branch Directors, and the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement detailed marketing, public relations, and special events strategies aligned with association objectives of growing and retaining membership, developing quality programs and developing financial resouces.
  • Development of media relations campaign including planning and implementation, in collaboration with senior leadership team for each branch, wtih focus on individual community needs, retaining voice of association and Y brand.
  • Directly responsible to develop, create, and edit high quality content in a timely way, within brand standards that is appropriate to specirfic marketing channels.
  • Coordinate, development and production of branch materials (posters, banners, flyers, collateral, etc.) and partner with appropriate program directors on development and approval.
  • Build relationships and confidence with five branch teams through high quality work and execution, on-site presence and scheduled meetings and updates.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, English, business, or related field required. Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in marketing field with supervisory experience required. Non-profit experience preferred. Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and with media, corporate partners and community and government entities. Experience directing coordinated strategies and approaches within a complex organization. Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and exhibit the ability to lead through influence. YMCA experience preferred.
This is a full time salary exempt position with a full range of benefits. Salary range is $55,000 - $70,000.

Basic Job Description: Junior Counselors are responsible for assisting with the day to day operation of their cabin group. They will ensure that campers are safe, engaged and having fun in the camp setting. They will work in both a cabin and program area.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • A minimum of two years experience working with youth
  • A minimum of two years experience in overnight camping
  • Must hold or willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must be willing to live on site for nine weeks.
Successful candidates will show expertise in the following core competencies:
  • Relationships: Builds authentic relationships in the service of enhancing individuals and team performance.
  • Communication: Listens and expresses self effectively and in a manner that reflects a true understanding of the needs of the audience.
  • Decision Making: Integrates logic, intuition and sound judgment to analyze information to identify greatest opportunities, make sound decisions, and solve problems.
Basic Job Expectations:
  • Serve as a cabin counselor for 8 - 10 campers with the assistance of the Senior Counselor
  • Work as part of the sports field, waterfront or hobbies staff
  • Ensure campers are learning how to make good decisions, put others first, make firneds, build confidence and practice the core values of the YMCA.
Other information: This position is at an all boys' overnight camp. Employee is expected to live on site for nine weeks beginning June 21, 2015. YMCA CAMP MI-TE-NA SENIOR COUNSELOR/LIFEGUARD

Must have a high school diploma
Must be willing to live on site for nine weeks.

  • Communication: Listens and expresses self effectively and in a manner that reflects a true understanding of the needs of the audience.

  • Work as part of the waterfront staff as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and leader in aquatic activities
  • Ensure campers are learning how to make good decisions, put others first, make firneds, build confidence and practice the core values of the YMCA.
